The Skinny:

Hayes really came along as a junior in terms of his skills, even though he had an excellent sophomore year. This well-built wing forward is a good athletic scorer who polished his jump shot as a junior, especially beyond mid-range. He scores primarily on mid-range jump shots, some created from posting up another player and some on drives, and he now consistently knocks down long jumpers. He is a capable rebounder for the small forward position.

Hayes is a borderline lottery pick. Considering his rate of improvement, he could be a very good NBA player for a long time as a consistent scoring small forward.
