Michael Sweetney
Notes: First Team All-Big East, Honorable Mention All-American
The Skinny:

Sweetney has been a beast on the low post since he first entered college,
using his strength relentlessly to score. As he started to face double
teams, he became more of a finesse player, and he hasn’t skipped a beat. He
has a good face-up game and is a very good passer, with range on his shot to
about the foul line, though that’s not his forte. He scores now with more
refined moves inside as opposed to a power game. He’s an excellent rebounder
who boxes out well and will get some put-backs at the offensive end. He
won’t dominate games, but he’s a good player that will help a team.

Sweetney is a borderline lottery pick. He may still go back to school.
