Aleksander Pavlovic

The Skinny:

Pavlovic is this year’s top shooter from the European ranks – and could be the
top marksman in the entire draft. Many feel that he could be the next Peja
Stojakovic in terms of his shot. He’s also a good athlete and relatively young
at the age of 19. While he has a nice stroke, he can be a bit streaky at
times. But he plays with a ton of energy and if he is able to harnass it on
the floor, he can be very effective.

Pavlovic is another player who apparently has a first round guarantee since he
stayed in the draft. He projects as a mid-first round pick, unless someone in
the late lottery feels the need to “out scoop” everyone else by snatching him up.

It’s so tough to read the Warriors. They’ll need a point guard if Gilbert Arenas bolts, but at the same time they sometimes go with the best player available. With that said, we’re going to go out on a limb and say they jump on the international bandwagon and take Pavlovic, perhaps for another team.
