Matt Carroll

The Skinny:

Carroll primarily made his mark as an excellent shooter, especially during his senior season when he was a first team All-Big East player. He moves well without the ball and is not a guy to leave open from anywhere on the court, and he’s also a hard-nosed player who knows the game well. He’s not a great athlete, but he’ll occasionally surprise a defender by going past him to create something. He is a decent ball-handler and passer, and has good size for the shooting guard position, though his lack of quickness hurts him.

Carroll is a second round pick at best. He could wind up on a team’s roster next year as a niche player, coming in to give the team a threat from long range.
