The Skinny:

Anderson is a great example of a “fit” player. He isn’t going to score 20 points or haul down 10 rebounds a night, and he won’t make the highlight reels, but he’s effective in the frontcourt. The question is which position he can play in the NBA; he’s not athletic enough to guard small forwards, and he doesn’t seem strong enough to bang with the power forwards in the league and doesn’t have much of a post game.

What Anderson does is face the basket very well and make smart plays, as he was often a veteran leader for Arizona and had some games where he quietly put up good numbers, especially on the glass. He has a good jump shot out to the college three-point range, and usually rebounds from being in the right spot.

Anderson is a late draft pick at best, but will probably be on someone’s summer league roster.
