Preview by Jeremy Dunlap (4) Coastal Carolina at (1) Liberty Coastal Carolina has not made it to the Big South Championship game since 1993, and if they hope to make it again, they will have to do what no other conference team has done all season, beat Liberty in the Vines Center. Liberty now holds a 9-0 record against Big South teams at home, including an earlier 79-65 victory over the Chanticleers. Coastal Carolina did win the other meeting of the season, beating the Flames 67-65 on an E.J. Gallup shot in the final seconds in the conference opener for both teams. (6) UNC Asheville at (2) High Point High Point is attempting to win their first ever Big South Championship, but they will have to knock off the defending champs in order to reach the title game. UNCA was the only team to win on the road in the first round and they did win at High Point three weeks ago, winning 78-73. High Point did win the other meeting between the teams, winning in Asheville, 83-70.
