Rimm Takes Over Struggling Panther Program: Assistant coach Byron Rimm received his first Division I head coaching job when Prairie View promoted him. He replaces interim head coach Darrell Hawkins, who led the Panthers to a 5-24 record last season. Hawkins had been interim coach since last May. Rimm has head coaching experience at Jarvis Christian in Hawkins, Texas. [4/21/06]
