Furman Hires Vandy Assistant: Furman officials have settled on Vanderbilt assistant coach Jeff Jackson for the Paladins coaching job. Jackson has been an assistant with the Commodores for the past seven seasons after he coached New Hampshire to a 21-60 record in three years. Jackson replaces Larry Davis, who left the school after nine years to become an assistant coach at Cincinnati.
