USC: USC’s Hackett May Have Spinal Injury

USC’s Hackett May Have Spinal Injury: USC point guard Daniel Hackett may miss the rest of the season, as it appears the sophomore has a fractured bone in his spinal column. Hackett’s injury occurred during a loss to Arizona Jan. 31. It was initially thought to be a bruised hip, and Hackett played in games against Arizona State and Washington State. The injury, which was discovered after an X-ray, leaves the Trojans with Dwight Lewis, Angelo Johnson and O.J. Mayo as scholarship guards.
