Huskies Honor Victims by Canceling Weekend Games: Northern Illinois has canceled all athletic events this weekend to honor the victims of yesterday’s shooting at a lecture hall. A former grad student shot nearly two-dozen people from the stage of a lecture hall, killing five. He committed suicide. The gunman used a shotgun and two handguns. The Huskies will reschedule Sunday’s home game vs. Western Michigan. [2/15/08]
