Wooden Falls and Breaks Bones: UCLA legendary coach John Wooden fell at his condo Thursday night and broke his wrist and collarbone. He was in a hospital Friday and would likely be released soon. His family said he is doing well and the broke bones are the extent of his injuries. The 97-year-old Wooden coached UCLA to 10 championships in 12 seasons in the 1960s and 1970s. He remains an icon in Westwood and throughout the college basketball nation. [3/01/08]
