Olson Honors Seniors at Arizona: Lute Olson, Arizona’s coach who is in the midst of a leave of absence this season, appeared at Arizona’s senior night to honor his recruits who will soon be graduating. Reporters weren’t allowed to speak to the coach. However, interim coach Kevin O’Neill, who has already been announced as Olson’s ultimate replacement, said there was no rift between him and Olson, despite reports by CBS to the contrary. Olson didn’t sit in the stands during the game, but his estranged wife, Christine, did. Olson filed for divorce from Christine Dec. 6, the same day he said his leave of absence would be extended until the end of the season. In January, Christine filed a court challenge to that divorce.
