Colorado State coach Tim Miles announced that the Rams have added forward Travis Busch to their roster. Busch graduated from Minnesota in May but has one remaining year of eligibility. He enrolled at Colorado State and will attend graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in business. At Minnesota, Busch averaged 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds per game last season. Miles said he looks forward to Busch joining the team for the 2009-10 season, according to a university press release.

“We are excited to have Travis join us,” said Miles.  “He is a person who values education, he’s got a dynamic personality, and he is a relentless basketball player.  He will be a great fit for our program.”

Busch was the winner of the 2005 Minnesota Mr. Basketball award and spent one season at Cal-Poly before transferring to Minnesota after his freshman season.  He sat out the 2006-07 season due to NCAA transfer rules but then played in 50 games over the next two seasons and averaged 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
