March Madness is coming to Boston with the 2003 Choice Hotels International America East Tournament. This marks the second consecutive season that the tournament will be held in the Boston area, as last season saw the quarterfinals and semifinals played at Northeastern’s historic Matthews Arena and this season will be at Boston University’s Walter Brown Arena.

America East is a conference with a lot of young talents to go with its veterans. This is a primary reason that it has been a real pleasure to watch games in the conference this season. There have been many great games from start to finish, and this weekend’s tournament promises to be no different.

It is also our pleasure to present you a series of feature articles on some of the individual talents at this weekend’s tournament. It includes one article on a player from every team in the tournament. Binghamton, which finished 9-7 and in fourth place in the regular season, is not eligible for the conference tournament as a newcomer to Division I. They will be eligible
for the conference tournament next season.

We hope the player features help you in looking forward to this weekend’s tournament, and Hoopville will have complete coverage of it.
