Tito Maddox Notes: Ineligible for 2001-2002 Season The Skinny: Like Steve Francis isn’t enough of a problem in Houston. Actually, Maddox gets a bad rep, as he accepted gifts from an agent, thus ruining his eligibility. Playing one year out of three isn’t good though (was academically ineligible his first season). For better or for worse, he also didn’t skulk around in Venezuelan semi-pro leagues like Florida’s Teddy Dupay, who didn’t get drafted.
