Duquesne Loses Family Member: John “Red” Manning, a former player, coach and athletic director at Duquesne, died April 27 after battling cancer for several years. Manning had served the school for more than 33 years before retiring. As a coach, he led the Dukes to a 247-138 record, including two NCAA Tournament and four NIT appearances. [4/30/05]
