Rebels add Grensing: UNLV head coach Lon Kruger has announced the hiring of former Creighton assistant Greg Grensing to his Runnin’ Rebel coaching staff. Grensing, 47, started as an assistant with current Creighton head coach Dana Altman at Kansas State, both under Kruger. Grensing followed Altman to Creighton and the two worked together for the past 15 seasons. Prior to working in Manhattan, Grensing spent two seasons as an assistant at Idaho State, and two seasons at Pan American (now part of the UT system) under Kruger. A Kansas native, Grensing graduated from Southwest Texas State. [5/20/05]
