Ellis Leaves Golden…er, Marquette: Marquette assistant coach Bo Ellis has announced that he is leaving Tom Crean’s coaching staff. Ellis, the captain of Marquette’s 1977 national champion squad, is leaving at the end of June to captain a youth outreach program with the Chicago Public Schools, to help inner-city and at-risk students. Marquette is still in the throes of deciding what to name its sports teams come fall. [5/24/05]
