Bears Appoint Former Lion: Northern Colorado head coach Craig Rasmuson announced the hiring of former Loyola Marymount assistant Richard Reed as a member of the Bears’ coaching staff. Reed spent the past three seasons on Steve Aggers’ staff for the Lions, and previously was an assistant at Cal Poly Pomona. The Bears again will be a D-I Independent for 2005-06, and will join the Big Sky Conference for 2006-07. [5/24/05]
