Promotions in Chicago: Loyola-Chicago head coach Jim Whitesell has announced two changes to his coaching staff. Former coordinator of basketball operations Shay Boyle has been promoted to assistant coach, while Scott Riley will step in Boyle’s old role. Boyle, who replaces Howard Moore, was an assistant coach under Whitesell at Lewis University for three seasons. Riley, who played and was a student assistant under Whitesell at Lewis in the 1990’s, comes to Chicago after five seasons as an assistant at North Dakota. [5/25/05]
