Cougars Have a Failure to Communicate: Washington State senior guard Randy Green thought coach Dick Bennett had ordered him to leave the floor during the Cougars’ 64-47 win against Wyoming. But Bennett had simply instructed him to sit on the bench, so he thought Green willingly left the court. After the game, Bennett said Green would not return to the team because of his insubordination. But the entire crisis was merely a matter of miscommunication, and the two cleared up the incident. The only senior on Washington State’s roster, Green is averaging four points and 2.5 rebounds per game.
