Rainbow Warrior Returns to Hawaii as Assistant: Former Hawaii guard Alika Smith has returned to the Rainbow Warrior sidelines as an assistant coach. Coach Riley Wallace hired Smith to replace Bob Burke, who left the island to accept an assistant coaching position with the Portland Trail Blazers. In his first Division I job, Smith will be responsible for coaching the guards, scouting opponents and doing some recruiting. Working with guards should be his specialty considering that Smith is among the top three Rainbow Warriors in scoring, steals and made three-pointers.
