UTEP: Miners Have Family Squabble

Miners Have Family Squabble: UTEP’s team chemistry apparently is too volatile because leading scorer Jason Williams — what is it about guys with that name finding trouble — socked teammate Stefon Jackson in the jaw. The incident occurred during practice, which coach Doc Sadler said was very competitive. Sadler has suspended Williams indefinitely, and Jackson is out indefinitely with a broken jaw. The two combine to average nearly 27 points per game, so the Miners’ offense suffered a serious blow thanks to Williams’ indiscretion. [12/09/05]
