Williams Closer to Returning to the Heights: Sean Williams is one step closer to returning to Boston College after a judge in Brighton cleared him to return to campus, according to Jeff Goodman at Scout.com. The sophomore center was suspended in May after being arrested for marijuana possession and underage drinking, and had to leave the campus immediately. He has been working out with John Lucas in Houston while taking classes at the University of Houston. Williams, who averaged 4.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and set a school record with 63 blocked shots last year, must be cleared by the school academically and take a physical before he can return to the court. That could come as early as Thursday night when the Eagles host Harvard. [12/19/05]
