Washington: Huskies Get Stronger

Huskies Get Stronger: Washington is off to another strong start and appears to be the class of the Pac-10 so far. And the Huskies will gain more depth and strength when senior forward Mike Jensen returns to the floor Friday against Lehigh. With conference play set to start next week, Jensen will play his first game of the season after he dislocated a shoulder during practice in September. Coach Lorenzo Romar wanted Jensen to fully rehabilitate the shoulder before returning. While Jensen has been out, Romar has let forwards Jamaal Williams and Jon Brockman fill Jensen’s position. The two have fared well — Williams averages 16.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game while Brockman is good for 12.7 points and eight rebounds per game. Combined with Jensen’s prodcution, the Huskies’ frontcourt appears solid and probably the best of the Pac 10.
