Atlantic Sun Conference Championship: Sophomore guard Justin Hare propelled No. 2 Belmont to its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament with 74-69 overtime a victory against No. 1 Lipscomb in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship game. Hare had a career-high 32 points, including 10 points in overtime. Hare helped the Bruins force the extra session by hitting a layup with less than 30 seconds remaining and drawing a foul on the play to tie the game at 58.
