Patriot League Championship: Several NCAA Tournament bubble teams can feel a little better after No. 1 Bucknell beat No. 2 Holy Cross 74-59 in the Patriot League Championship game. The Bison got 23 points from senior guard Kevin Bettencourt to lead the way. Bucknell returns to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season and will try to win a game or two after the Bison shocked No. 3-seed Kansas last year. Bucknell broke open a five-point game early in the second half and gradually stretched the lead into double figures. [3/10/06]
