Field Announced For Early 2006 Tournament: The field for the 2006 2K Sports College Hoops Classic benefiting Coaches vs. Cancer has been announced, with St. John’s, Maryland, Michigan State and Texas hosting the Regional Rounds. The Regional Rounds will be played November 7th-11th, with the four winners convening at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 16th and 17th. Other teams participating will be Alcorn State, Brown, Central Michigan, Chicago State, Hampton, Loyola (Md.), Navy, New Orleans, North Florida, St. Bonaventure, Vermont, and Youngstown State. Florida won the 2005 event 75-70 over Syracuse. [3/14/06]
