Oregon: Ducks Clip Brooks’ Wings for Two Games

Ducks Clip Brooks’ Wings for Two Games: Oregon suspended junior guard Aaron Brooks for two games, effective next season, because he hit Washington’s Ryan Appleby with a forearm during the teams’ quarterfinal match up in the Pac-10 Tournament last week. Appleby needed six stitches to close the wound. Brooks will miss the season opener and the Ducks’ game at Washington later in the season. Brooks averaged 10.8 points and 4.4 assists per game this season. [3/14/06]
