Ohio State Investigation Takes Down Biancardi: Wright State coach Paul Biancardi announced yesterday that he will resign as the Raiders’ coach. The NCAA had slapped him with a one-and-a-half year ban on recruiting after the organization determined his role in unethical practices at Ohio State while he worked for former Buckeye coach Jim O’Brien. Biancardi helped deliver $6,000 to a former Ohio State recruit and didn’t inform the university of the unethical actions. In two seasons at Wright State, Biancardi led the Raiders to a 27-29 record.
