NCAA: Bomb Scare Delays San Diego Games

NCAA Tournament 2006
Bomb Scare Delays San Diego Games: Police officials responded quickly to a possible bomb threat at San Diego State’s Cox Arena, the site of four first-round games today, by evacuating the stadium and brining in the dogs. A bomb-sniffing dog identified a possible problem in a hot dog stand. After sufficiently investigating the incident, police opened the stadium to fans and teams. No. 7 Marquette and No. 10 Alabama will get under way about two hours later than their original 2:30 p.m. tip time. [3/16/06]
