Everhart Accepts Duquesne Position: After building successful programs at Northeastern and McNeese State, Huskies coach Ron Everhart has accepted a new challenge — turn Duquesne into a winner. The Dukes have not reached the NCAA Tournament in nearly 30 years and have had losing seasons in 19 of the last 20 years. This past season, Duquesne finished 3-24 under former coach Danny Nee. Everhart, on the other hand, led Northeastern to a 19-11 record in the CAA, home of Final Four participant George Mason. For his career, Everhart has a 174-172 record.
