Cougar Seeks Fresh Start: Washington State sophomore guard Josh Akognon will leave the school to transfer. Akognon led the Cougars in scoring with 10.3 points per game. His playing time diminished late in the season because he was not a fan of former coach Dick Bennett’s defensive scheme. Bennett’s son Tony took over when the elder Bennett retired after the season.
