ESPNU Classic Tournament Looks Compelling: ESPN is getting into the college basketball tournament business by sponsoring the ESPNU Classic, which will feature eight teams playing three games apiece during Thanksgiving weekend. This year’s lineup looks strong with Southern Illinois, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Minnesota, West Virginia, Montana, Marist and Western Michigan. Southern Illinois could be the strongest member of the bunch, despite four major conference teams dotting the lineup. Orlando, Fla., will host the tournament at the Disney World sports complex.
