Husky Big Man Denied Sixth Year: Bryson McKenzie, the lone member of the Northern Illinois Huskies who still knows what it was like to play at the Chick Evans Field House, was denied a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. The 6-10 center graduated after the fall 2005 semester but was looking to play one more year because he redshirted twice – once as a freshman and a second time in 2003-04 because of an injury. McKenzie averaged 4.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while he filled in as a starter for injured James Hughes for six games.
