Not Going Stag: New Fairfield head coach Ed Cooley completed his staff hires for his Stags coaching staff. David Collins, Tim Fuller and Bob Simon were named assistants and Richard Carter was named director of basketball operations. Collins spent three seasons with Marshall as an assistant in charge of recruiting, scouting and player development. Simon spent six seasons with Toledo. Simon also had a one-year stint as the head coach of Wayne State University’s women’s basketball team. Fuller graduated from Wake Forest in 2000 and immediately began his coaching career. Fuller spent time at North Carolina A&T and then moved on to Elon and spent last year with Wake Forest as director of basketball operations. Carter worked at Michigan State as team manager. [5/21/06]
