Eustachy Remaking Golden Eagles Without Three Starters: Jarekus Singleton, David Cornwell and Mildon Ambres read the writing on the wall when Southern Mississippi coach Larry Eusatachy brought in nine recruits for the upcoming season. Although all three had been starters this past season, Eustachy made it clear that they would play a smaller role next season with so much youth entering the program. So those three plan to transfer to other schools where they can continue to earn significant playing time. Singleton averaged 8.3 points and three rebounds per game last season, Cornwell averaged 7.9 points and four rebounds per game, and Ambres averaged 6.4 points and 4.1 rebounds. [5/22/06]
