Another Driesell Joins Terps’ Program: Maryland has hired Chuck Driesell as an assistant coach. Driesell is a former Terrapin and son of legendary Maryland coach Charles “Lefty” Driesell, who led Maryland to national prominence from 1969-86. The younger Driesell has been a high school head coach in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., for the past two seasons. He has also worked for Georgetown and Marymount University in Arlington, Va. [6/04/06]
