Kelly Named Assistant Coach at Hofstra: Hofstra coach Tom Pecora has hired Michael Kelly as an assistant coach. Kelly replaces Tom Parrotta, who left to take over at Canisius. Kelly worked as a graduate manager at Hofstra this past season and as-sisted with player instruction, video scouting and film exchange. Kelly was a four-year player at Haverford College and also ran track for the school. As a senior captain, he led Haverford to its first playoff appearance in 10 years. [6/28/06]
