Big Red Hire Badger Scoring Machine: Former Wisconsin star Mark Vershaw has joined coach Steve Donahue’s coaching staff at Cornell. Vershaw brings Final Four experience to the sidelines of the Big Red program. The three-year starter for Wisconsin was the leading scorer on its Final Four team in 1999-2000. Vershaw finished 21st in school history in scoring with 1,066 points, and he never missed a game in his career. His coaching career began as an assistant at Illinois Central College, and he then volunteered for former Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett at Washington State. [8/06/06]
