Lamar Names New Assistant Coach: Don Skelton has left his head coach position at Northwest Mississippi Community College to work as an assistant coach under Steve Roccaforte at Lamar. Skelton coached for eight years at Northwest Mississippi with a 198-56 record and led his team to five trips to the NJCAA National Tournament. The new assistant has also helped 32 of his players get on four-year school rosters and was ready to leave himself. [9/02/06]
