Two Minutemen Arrested: Two Massachusetts players were arrested Oct. 6 for fighting outside of a local coffee shop. Christopher Lowe Jr., 19, and Nana Ampim, 20, were arrested after they failed to obey police officers’ orders to stop fighting outside of a Starbucks. Apparently, they were two of nine people punching and kicking a 21-year-old Lawrence man. Massachusetts has refused to comment on the issue until the case is resolved. Lowe, a sophomore point guard, led the team with 31 minutes per game last season. Ampim is a walk-on guard from London who played in four games last season. [10/08/06]
