Dayton’s Plummer Convicted of OVI: Dayton junior forward Norman Plummer was convicted of operating a vehicle under the influence Oct. 10, after driving his car into a pole Sept. 22 and failing a sobriety test at the scene. Plummer, 22, entered a no contest plea in Dayton’s Municipal Court and was found guilty. His license was suspended for six months, and he was ordered to perform 75 hours of community service. Plummer averaged 10 points per game last season and led the team with 6.5 rebounds per contest. [10/11/06]
