Thiero Won’t Practice for a While: Duquesne senior center Almamy Thiero will miss two to four weeks of practice after having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee to remove some cartilage that had been causing pain. Thiero is a transfer from Memphis who is eligible to play this season. Coach Ron Everhart does not expect Thiero to miss any of the regular season, which starts Nov. 13 against Youngstown State.
