NCAA: JuCo Player Shot at Halloween Party

JuCo Player Shot at Halloween Party: Terrist Parramore, who plays for defending JuCo champ Arkansas – Fort Smith, was in critical condition Oct. 29 after someone shot him in the head and chest. Parramore tried to stop William Steward from harassing women at a Halloween party. Steward left the party briefly, before returning with a 16-year-old, whom police have not identified, who opened fire at Parramore after Steward pointed him out. Police have arrested Steward and the shooter, charging them attempted capital murder. Arkansas – Fort Smith won the NJCAA Division I championship last season. [10/30/06]
