Hurricanes Postponed: Two Miami starters must wait a little longer to start the season. The university suspended sophomore guard Denis Clemente and senior forward Raymond HIcks because they violated team rules. Miami did not specify which rules they broke, but Clemente and Hicks will sit for the Hurricanes’ opener against Florida International Saturday. Clemente averaged 5.5 points and 2.2 assists per game last season, and Hicks added 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds. [11/10/06]
