Connecticut: Sixteen Inducted as Huskies of Honor

Sixteen Inducted as Huskies of Honor: Connecticut will induct 16 Huskies — three coaches and 13 players — into the first class of the school’s men’s basketball Huskies of Honor Feb. 5. Connecticut will host Syracuse in a nationally televised game that day. The coaches include Jim Calhoun and former coaches Hugh Greer and Dee Rowe. Emeka Okafor heads the list of current NBA players making the cut into the program. Joining him will be Seattle’s Ray Allen, Cleveland’s Donyell Marshall, New Jersey’s Clifford Robinson and Detroit’s Richard Hamilton. [12/27/06]
