St. John’s Center Suspended:St. John’s has suspended senior center Aaron Spears because of an undisclosed violation of team rules. The 6-10 Spears, who averages 2.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game, will not practice with the Red Storm or compete in any games during the suspension, coach Norm Roberts said. [12/27/06]
