Bad Cheek Forces Peacock to Sit: Georgia Tech freshman center Zach Peacock will miss tonight’s game vs. Winston-Salem State because of a right cheekbone injury suffered late in Saturday’s game against Saint Francis. His cheekbone was struck by teammate Paco Diaw’s knee when he dove for a loose ball. He will be re-examined this week. Peacock has started nine of 13 games for the Yellow Jackets and averages 7.0 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. [1/03/07]
