Notre Dame’s McAlarney Suspended After Drug Charges: Notre Dame sophomore guard Kyle McAlarney is suspended indefinitely after a state trooper found marijuana in his car, just hours after scoring 21 points in a win vs. Rider. Coach Mike Brey said the sophomore will continue to practice with the team but will start his suspension with the home game against Louisville. McAlarney started the first 12 games this season, averaging 10.3 points a game for the Irish. [1/03/07]
